Good Norms was developed in Queensland with a specialist microbiome formulation team - not selected from a catalogue of ready-made formulas.
From the ingredients and flavour to how it mixes and feels to drink, the formula was developed specifically around what we wanted Good Norms to be: thoughtful daily gut support that's simple enough to actually stick with.

WHY WE CHOSE THIS ROUTE
Nine months of development.
There are faster and cheaper ways to launch a gut-health product.
We could have selected an existing formula, changed the flavour, put it in a Good Norms pouch and called it a day.
We didn't want to do that.
We chose to develop our own formula with a specialist Australian team, working through the ingredients, amounts, flavour, texture and overall experience from the ground up.
Yes it costs more to do it this way. But for us, it was worth it.
SPECIALIST-DEVELOPED
Developed by people who understand the microbiome.
We knew the kind of product we wanted to create.
We also knew we weren’t microbiologists.
So we partnered with a specialist formulation and manufacturing team with expertise across microbiology, formulation science, chemistry, quality and microbiome-focused product development.
Together, we worked through the formula from the ground up - balancing the prebiotic fibre foundation with probiotics and postbiotics, while also making sure the finished product was practical enough for everyday use.
From idea to finished product.
01 - The brief
We started with what we actually wanted from a daily gut product: a considered formula, easy daily use and a drink we'd want to come back to.
02 - Formula development
The formulation team worked through the ingredients, quantities and how each part of the formula worked together.
03 - Taste & texture
The formula wasn't finished just because the ingredient panel looked good. We also worked on flavour, sweetness, mixability and mouthfeel to create a light blackberry drink with minimal grittiness.
04 - Production
Once the formula was ready, the ingredients were weighed and blended before being filled into Good Norms pouches here in Queensland.
05 - Packed & ready
The finished blend goes from production floor to the Good Norms pouch you receive at home.
